NEW Vista Cold Water Soluble Stabilizer / Topping - 10" x 100yd roll, 20 microns thick. This topping is made of PVA, a water-soluble, non-toxic synthetic polymer that quickly dissolves in hot or cold water. When used on napped materials such as towels, fleece, or knits, it holds the stitches in place above the material instead of letting the stitches sink down into the material, allowing your embroidery design to keep its definition and detail.

Vista Cold Water Soluble Stabilizer is also the perfect backing when embroidering sheer fabrics where you can't use a backing that would be visible in the finished product. After embroidering, just trim away the excess around the embroidery, then rinse the item in cool water to completely wash away the remaining stabilizer.

When topping is dissolved and exposed to normal water treatment at your water company's treatment plant or in your septic system, bacteria will break it down into harmless components.
