Colman Premium Backing / Style 4609 Cap & Hat TearAway - is a 1.8 ounce (61 gsm) tearaway backing perfect for all of your cap backing needs.

The lighter weight is much easier to work with than other heavy-weight backings, and will work perfectly on structured caps and flexfit/snapback caps.

Use the full 4x17" sheet for 270 degree cap designs, or tear in half for cap front designs. For the occasional high-stitch count design on an unstructured cap you can use two layers if necessary (or just fold in half), but one layer will typically work very well in nearly all situations.
