The USB Linker - TAJIMA is the means to take your out-of- date machine technology into the 21st century. Embroidery machines have never kept up with the changes in the I/T industry - but now you can!

Computers are not supporting floppy disks any longer, floppy disk drives are practically obsolete. This unit can help you add USB capability while still being able to use the floppy disk with your current embroidery machine.

Floppy disks hold only 430,000 stiches, while a 256K USB can hold 83 million stitches.
Hook this up to your Tajima machine and never let a large file size limit you again.
Works for your Tajima - TFD, TMEF, TMEG, TMFD, TMFX, TMEX style machine.

  • What Tajima machines is the USB Linker compatible with?

    • Any Tajima Embroidery model machine listed above that has a parallel port is compatible

  • Can the USB Linker show images or simply text?

    • Images and Text > up to eight characters.

  • Can the USB Linker connect my computer to the embroidery machine via a usb cable?

    • NO, it uses the USB-Flash-Drive to input files into the embroidery machine. Make sure your control panel is set to output to parallel NOT Serial.

  • Can the files be saved in folders on the USB-Flash-Drive?

    • You are able to create numerous 'folders' on the flash drive allowing for faster access to a clients file.

  • How do you save designs on the USB drive using your embroidery software?

    • Easy, just make sure you use the "save as" function instead of "output" and use the extension .DST

  • Can I buy any USB Flash Drive to use with the Tajima USB Linker?

    • It is limited to 2Gb, and remember to completely reformat it first as FAT 16 or FAT 32

  • Is there a negative 'side effect'to using the Tajima USB Linker?

    • The Tajima software in the TMEX and TMFX models will NOT allow the 'trace' function to work while using any device hooked up through the parallel port of these machines
